The Beauty of Meads Bay Still Shines on Post Irma
December 20, 2017
It is hard to imagine a more striking beach than Meads Bay, Anguilla, the prime jewel of Caribbean shorelines. The recipient of numerous accolades, no Anguilla experience is complete without an encounter with Meads Bay. The beach is characterized by its powdery white sand and exquisite turquoise water whose unmarred splendor go unsurpassed.
The passage of Hurricane Irma on September 6th, 2017 did little to affect the enthralling Meads Bay, however. It should come as no surprise that even two weeks after the event, the beach began reclaiming a footing on its full glory. Now, in Post-Hurricane Anguilla, Meads Bay continues to offer up breathtaking sunsets and views so expansive they seem surreal. One plus would be the multitude of tiny shells now scattered on the previously vacant sand. Nature always finds a way back to how it should be and Meads Bay is no exception. It continues to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
